San Ramon Chronicles / Stories of Bygone Days is the newest addition to The History Press' American Chronicles series. This wonderful book is by local author Beverly Lane and she'll give a short talk and sign copies of her book at this event.
This book is a first in several ways. It is the first complete history book written about San Ramon, beginning with its interesting paleontology and ending with the modern city. It is the first to feature untold tales about the San Ramon Fire Protection District (1963-1980), and it is the first to share both the beginnings of Bishop Ranch (1895) and today's Bishop Ranch Business Park (1978) in one volume.
Delicious appetizers and refreshments will be served. The Honorable Mayor Bill Clarkson will be in attendance as well!
