Event Description:
Successful businesses are relying heavily on Information Technology, now more than ever. Security, backup and remote access to files and data are the competitive advantage business owners depend on to run a successful company. The San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, 1+1 Technology and Microsoft are partnering on a five-part seminar about making IT a competitive advantage. This event is 1 of 5. The first seminar will be about Cyber-Crime. Each month, a new topic will be chosen and discussed.  We will have technology professionals on hand to field questions. This event is free and open to anyone interested in attending. Seating is limited to 25. RSVP With Kurt Rushlow @ (925) 396-5801 or kurt@1plus1tech.com

Cyber-Crime is at an all time high. As cyber-criminals are getting more and more creative, cyber-security measures have to evolve. 40% of all cyber attacks happen to small to mid-sized businesses and 65% of those businesses shut down within one year after the attack. Without putting the proper measures in place, it becomes a matter of when rather than if a business will become the victim of a cyber-crime. Microsoft has sponsored the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce to teach businesses how they can protect themselves from this threat. Jake Solis of 1+1 Technology has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and will be sharing his wealth of knowledge as the speaker at this seminar.
