First Annual Benevolence Fund Barbeque

Valley Vista Senior Housing is a non-profit organization that takes pride in providing residents extraordinary housing and supportive services. We provide a home to 159 older adults that range from 62 to 93 years of age. Our residents are on a fixed income with an average income of $15,000 annually. Some of our residents must decide between having enough food for the month and refilling a vital prescription. Valley Vista welcomed its first residents on May 26, 2011, making it the first affordable housing community in San Ramon. Valley Vista is owned and operated by American Baptist Homes of the West. Valley Vista would like to invite you to the First Annual Benevolence Fund Barbeque on Friday, July 26th from 4:00 pm ? 8:00 pm at 20709 San Ramon Valley Blvd in San Ramon. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 for two. All proceeds will benefit Valley Vista residents by directly funding physical fitness programs such as Zumba Gold and socializing activities like coffee socials, potlucks, bbq's and monthly crafts. The Valley Vista team is committed to its resident?s well-being and quality of life. Our diverse community is made up of residents from all walks of life, each with a unique story. The benevolence fund would help fund socialization activities in order to mitigate isolation and allow residents to socialize with neighbors.
