Fun on the Farm

A chilly winter day is a great time to sit in a sheltered spot and listen to a good story. Stop by Forest Home Farms to hear some stories about sheep, help card (comb) their wool and discover some natural dyes that can change yarn's color. You can also make a sheep craft and meet a sheep up close. Also enjoy interactive exhibits, the tractor museum, the beautiful grounds and free activities. Visit the Welcome Center to view exhibits and purchase old-fashioned toys and gifts at the Gift Shoppe. Travel back in time to the early days of the San Ramon Valley as you tour the Glass House Museum with a docent or explore the farm on a self-guided tour. Glass House Tours are 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 & 1:00. Activities on the Farm are free, Glass House Tours are $5.00 per person.
