Event Description:
On April 16, 2016 the theme for the day will be "Caring for Mother Earth." From 11:00am to 2:00pm, explore the history of Earth Day, make a compostable pot and plant a flower seed in it to take home. Activities are free of charge. Forest Home Farms is located at 19953 San Ramon Valley Blvd. Tours of the restored Victorian Glass House Museum will be held at 2pm, the fee is $5 credit card only. Tour tickets can be purchased in the Gift Shoppe. Children ages 2 and under are free. Take a self-guided tour and learn about the history of the site. Visit the Tractor Barn and see restored antique tractors and engines. Don't forget to stop by the Gift Shoppe open from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
