The Sunday morning market is set to open Sunday, May 1, 2022, 9am-1pm. To kick off the season, the farmers’ market will be hosting a variety of festive activities for both children and adults, including a May Day celebration with the May Pole, kids crafts, live music and the Market Basket Giveaway. The farmers’ market will feature local crops, first of the season’s cherries from Brentwood, apricots from Patterson and strawberries from Watsonville. Season specialties: vine-ripened tasty early girl tomatoes from Stockton, organic vegetables from the Central Valley and English peas grown on the coast of Half Moon Bay. Cheyenne, the Market Manager, says, “I look forward to a successful season of connecting those in the community with food grown by who local family farms.”
