Theater Production 2021: Into the Woods Program Details For students entering 3rd through 9th Grade Tickets will be available for purchase for our two Outdoor Evening Performances scheduled for July 29th and July 30th; $5 for students and $10 for adults. Class has a required fee of $75 for supplies, materials and consumables which has been automatically added to each ticket Instructors: Jennifer Brown, Charlotte Wood MS Choir Teacher & Heather Raines, Iron Horse MS Drama Teacher In this five (5) week course, students will have the responsibility of performing in and designing a full-length musical developing and enhancing their skills in performing arts, visual arts, and sound engineering. Students will be “double cast” (two actors per role) and perform in one of our two performances. In addition, students will be divided into crews (Stage Managers, Set Design, Costumes and Lights and Sound) and receive training on how to conceptualize, design and technically construct a show. While both casts will collaborate on the show design, they will also specialize in a particular design area, and “run crew” for the other cast during “off” performances. Due to the cumulative and collaborative nature of performance, students would need to commit to the whole of the time and to all Dress Rehearsals and performances. Class will meet the weeks of June 28 - July 30th and outdoor performances will be held on July 29th and 30th in the evening. Tickets for performances will be $5 for students in kinder through 12th grade and $10 for adults. Pricing for this class includes the $75 fee for supplies, materials and consumables.
