Owner Kim Falahati was working for a father of 2 high schoolers, who was separated for over 2 years, had boxes still packed and nothing on the walls. Home was just a place with a roof over it. So as my natural nurturing instinct kicked in, I started to make their home, feel like home again.
Here enters "Life It Up!" I created a business that helped men who have gone through or going through a divorce. Hiring nannies, help with scheduling, dinner, running errands and...become their Life Coach. I networked, met mentors, joined the San Ramon Chamber and ran!!

After non stop talking to people, learning the ropes of being an entrepreneur and getting great advice, Kim realized women also wanted help as both parents needed help saving time. POOF!! Family Matters comes into play! Family Matters becomes the extension of Life It Up. Family Matters help you from A-Z through any transition, specializing in Divorce, Seniors and Collectors. Your Family Facilitator!
Sooo, to make a long story longer...we're celebrating!!! 5 years of blood, sweat and tears deserves a celebration.
Family Matters is still a member of the San Ramon Chamber and they will be hosting their FIRST mixer and ribbon cutting next Thursday, June 21.
