DESCRIPTION:4th Annual 'Dose of Awareness' 5K Walk/Health Expo\n\n\n\nHEALTH EXPO: Join us for this FREE family friendly event where you'll learn about learn how America's prescription drug/heroin abuse epidemic is impacting Bay Area communities\, and how to personally combat it. Fun\, interactive activities for youth and lots of prevention\, family support and services information for adults.\n\n\n\n5K WALK: Help break the silence and end the stigma! Walk in memory of loved ones you've lost\, show your support for those in recovery and for those who have lost a precious someone. Funds raised will directly support public awareness campaigns and other efforts led by NCAPDA and the Alameda and Contra Costa County MEDS Coalitions to combat this national and local health crisis. Cost $25 (includes T-shirt). Children 12 and under walk FREE. \n\n\n\nDONATE: Can't attend? You can still support our prevention efforts by making a donation of any amount. NCAPDA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Donations are deducible as allowed under current tax laws.
