Artificial Intelligence

I've been in science and technology all my life, but I'm thrilled to be a part of this "modern AI boom!"
With an undergraduate degree in nursing to a masters degree in cell biology, I've been acquainted with artificial intelligence for a very long time. I don't use it for simple things like writing since that's always been my strong suit, however, I do use it heavily for design and video editing.  I also use it to manage our business and personal inventory.  Of course, we all use Google Voice, Siri, and Amazon Echo (Alexa).  I especially like how it enhances my workouts at the gym.
I said all that to say this, artificial intelligence is a fascinating tool.  It's over 80 years old and is finally modernized.

If you suffer from fear of technology, i suggest you start simple: Many tools small businesses already use (like Canva, QuickBooks, Shopify, and Google Workspace) have AI features built-in—you just have to turn them on or explore them. Check out some use cases below:
  • Security and Fraud Protection like Stripe and Square
  • Market research to check out the competition and summarize competitor activity
  • Business operations like scheduling assistants, i.e. Calendly or Motion, and automatic appointment setting
  • AI can also answer your business phones with Google Voice or other AI receptionist tool
Don't be intimidated; artificial intelligence is only a tool! It's simple, practical and affordable!
